Refill Water Station

Mayo’s first refill water station was installed on Dr Kathleen Lynn Lane in Ballina by the Ballina Municipal District office.

These stations will help reduce the use of single use plastic water bottles by allowing you to fill your reusable bottle with clean, drinkable water.

The impact of plastic waste on the environment is well-documented, and widely known. It can take as long as 500 years for plastic to decompose, so every time it is thrown out instead of recycled, it impacts the natural environment.

Water Refill Stations such as these play an important role in reducing our plastic footprint, promote a more proactive approach to hydration, help you save money and protect the environment, all at the same time.
