The Keening
The Keening – Ireland’s only Festival dedicated to the lost arts of the Irish Wake. Performances and workshops on May 18th at the Mulranny Arts Centre, Mulranny, Co Mayo, by Ireland’s most famous Sean Nós singers Caitriona Ni Cheannabháin and Bardic Poet Kevin Toolis, author of My Father’s Wake: How the Irish Teach Us to Live, Love and Die.
