Funding is available from a number of different sources for groups or individuals who wish to carry out Irish-langauge related projects.
Funding schemes currently open
The Professional and Amateur Drama Companies Scheme
This Foras na Gaeilge scheme is open to drama groups established legally as a drama company, both amateur and professional, including newly established groups, who wish to produce Irish language or bilingual plays around the country.
Closing date: 13 January 2023
The Projects Fund
This fund is aimed at areas of work and projects not covered by other Foras na Gaeilge schemes. Between €1,000/£900 and €12,000/£10,800 is available in grants.
Closing date: 20 January
Funding Opportunities
Foras na Gaeilge
Foras na Gaeilge provides funding for a range of different langauge intitiaves throughout the year. Relevant schemes include the Festivals Scheme, the Professional and Amateur Drama Companies Scheme and the Summer Camps scheme (for groups outside the Gaeltacht).
