The Arts Service is responsible for the development and implementation of services which provide support for the arts in Mayo. We aim to make arts accessible and inclusive to all. Our work is firmly based on the principles of quality, access, inclusion and long-term value. We provide information, promotion, advice, programming and policy. We cover all art forms; music, visual arts, literature, drama, dance, film, community arts and public art.
Annually our service works with over 300 community groups and impacts directly on the lives of at least 125,000 people who attend events organised by or funded through the Arts Service.
