Where in the world are you now?
Originally from Belcarra, I have been living in New York City for over 25 years. I am a corporate meeting and event planner for a global travel management company.
What you love and miss about the County?
I love the laid back attitude, the silence, the fresh air, and the amazing scenery and amenities that County Mayo has to offer. I really miss my family and friends especially my niece and nephews. And of course my mother and her home cooking and baking!
What you think of Home to Mayo?
It is an exciting initiative and I am hoping it will attract lots of visitors to the county. I am disappointed that I can’t make it home for the celebrations due to work commitments.
Plans to come home?
I am very lucky and get to travel home to Mayo a few times a year. I will be home in July and bringing lots of cousins with me for a family gathering.
