Summer Gaeltacht Scholarship

Mayo County Council is now accepting applications for its Gaeltacht Scholarship Scheme for Summer 2023. One full-scholarship will be made available which will cover course fees for the Cúrsa D in Coláiste Mhuigheo, Ceathrú Thaidhg. This course will run from 18 July to 1 August 2023. The conditions for entry are as follows:
- This scholarship is for second-level students who are currently in Transition Year or 5th year.
- Students who live in Mayo, or who attend school in Mayo, may apply.
- This scholarship is non-transferable.
- The scholarship winner will be chosen by means of open draw. Oifig na Gaeilge will make direct contact with the winning student.
- The winning student will be required to show that they fulfil the scholarship conditions as outlined above.
Applications will be accepted online only via the application form below. Applications are to be completed both by the student and their parent/guardian. The deadline for applications is midnight Wednesday 26th April 2023. Late entries will not be accepted.
