Noah Rose’s work for Changing Tracks, ‘The Museum of Interconnected Events’ was a sculptural installation along the Vies Verdes/ Greenways, a small museum exploring connections between the three countries through a series of historical investigations connected to the former railways.

The museum comprises a series of ‘event cabinets’ which use a common sculptural form but are clad with a ‘shell’ of local materials.  The cabinets explore themes such as Migration & Exile, hidden personal histories of journeys, transformation of raw materials and the lives of people whose livelihood depended on these processes, the persistence of memory and the connection between language and cultural identity.

CHANGING TRACKS is a partnership project between Northamptonshire County Council (UK), Mayo County Council (IE) and Consortium Transversal, Cultural Activities Network from Catalonia (CAT) and is a recipient of funding from the EU Culture Programme 2007-2013. Visit the Changing Tracks website here.
