Art in the Landscape project: a partnership project with Mayo County Council, Offaly County Council and Visual Artists Ireland.
Art in the Landscape project: Offaly County Council in partnership with Mayo County Council and Visual Artists Ireland have been engaged in a project, funded under the Arts Council’s Invitation to Collaboration Scheme since 2020. The project takes its inspirations from Tír Sáile Sculpture Trail in North Mayo and Lough Boora Sculpture Park in County Offaly; the two largest sculpture trail/ park in Ireland.
This collaboration has included research, an online seminar and in 2023 a Festival of Ideas and Artist Commission in 2023/ 2024.
