Balla Town Park Walks

The newly upgraded Balla Town Looped Walks are amongst the most popular places to go for a walk in the Central Mayo region. The Town Park woodlands have been cleared of invasive non-native plant species and new and existing pathways throughout the park have been laid down / resurfaced. This work has a very positive impact on the overall health of the woodlands, whilst also increasing accessibility to this wonderful amenity for the general public. Informative signage alongside the pathways point out the woods’ importance as a local heritage site and outdoor amenity area for residents and visitors alike
