Mayo Day will be bringing another stellar line up of music to the main stage this Mayo Day, with music beginning at our Main Stage at Carter Square from 12pm until 6pm..

Gerry Guthrie and Band 5pm - 6pm

Gerry Guthrie and his band return to the Mayo Day stage after wowing the crowds in Ballina last year. Known for his unique voice and guitar slinging skills, Guthrie has earned a reputation for his high-energy performances and ability to connect with audiences. Gerry has toured extensively throughout Ireland and the UK, and has made numerous appearances on national Television, including a headlining spot on RTE’s Late Late Show in 2023, when he duetted with host Patrick Kielty.

Trad Lib 3.45pm - 4.30pm

TRAD LIB are a celtic rock band from Erris, County Mayo, comprising two generations of the Harrington family – brothers Seán and Máirtín, and Seán's three sons Dez, Rob and Mark. Each generation brings their musical influences to the party – Irish traditional music and high-energy rock - and their recently released single, 'Me Uncle's Wake', is a fusion between the two styles.

You can catch them playing their high-octane brand of music anywhere from busking on Shop Street in Galway to festivals around the West of Ireland this Summer – that is when Dez and Rob have time off from their busy jobs as doctors! Their unique take on Irish music seems to strike a chord wherever they go!

Mayo born singer Stuart Moyles is no stranger to Mayo Day and over the past number of years he has toured significantly across Ireland and the U.K. In recent times his career has went from strength to strength and is now one of the most popular live acts on the Irish country music scene. The Hit Machine Drummers 12pm - 12.30pm

The Hit Machine Drummers have been making waves in the entertainment industry since 2013, and for good reason. They are the biggest, most energetic, raw, and hardworking group of drummers in Ireland. From day one, they have been getting bigger, better, faster and louder, and have created all of their material and choreography themselves.

Their unique celtic drummer style, complete with a fierce warrior look, plain black kilts, chains, and leather vest, and an armory of drums, is sure to leave audiences in awe. But it's not just their striking appearance that sets them apart; their jaw-dropping choreography and toe-tapping grooves make for a fun-filled show with conga lines, rhythm games, and even the occasional audience member invited up on stage to join in on the fun.

The Hit Machine Drummers have performed at major venues in Ireland, festivals, and parades throughout the country including Mayo Day previously.
