Mayo Library Development Plan 2024-2028

Our new Library Development Plan, launched in April 2024 by Minister Dara Calleary at Castlebar Library, is an ambitious document which charts the development of Mayo County Library over the next five years. Some of the outlined aims include:
* Improved opening hours
* New libraries in Westport and Ballyhaunis
* My Open Libraries - open 365 days a year from 8am to 10pm - in Swinford and Ballina
* More book clubs
* More sensory services
