Great Western Greenway Emergency Asset Renewal Works

From tomorrow, Wednesday 14/06/2023,  Works will commence on emergency asset renewal works on the Great Western Greenway. Which will involve the closure of the Greenway to begin with at Creggaunnahorna & Derrynanaff just outside Westport

This will involve resurfacing works over the existing Greenway. The Great Western Greenway will be re-opened every weekend until works are complete.

The Newport to Achill Section will remain open and is unaffected on this first phase of works but check for updates prior to planning a trip on the Great Western Greenway
