Tune in Tonight Wednesday November 17th - Webinar on further education and training opportunities in Mayo

Anyone over the age of 16 thinking of continuing or returning to education or training in Co. Mayo will get invaluable insights at a special webinar on Wednesday next.

‘Welcome to FET! – Further Education and Training Opportunities in Mayo’ is the title of the webinar hosted by Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB) in conjunction with Mayo Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) on Wednesday, November 17, from 7-8pm.

‘Fáilte go FET! - Deiseanna Breisoideachais agus Oiliúna i Maigh Eo ’ teideal an webinar atá á óstáil ag Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Mhaigh Eo, Shligigh agus Liatroim (MSLETB) i gcomhar le Coiste Forbartha Pobail Áitiúil Mhaigh Eo (LCDC) ar an gCéadaoin, 17 Samhain, ó 7- 8i.n.

Information will be provided on full-time and part-time courses in Co. Mayo, how to apply for them, and funding and supports available.

“Adult education and training have grown hugely in the past number of years, and this webinar will give potential learners a full outline of what is available,” said Peter Egan, Director of Further Education and Training in MSLETB.

“To ensure that the webinar is of practical value to those who attend, members of the teaching and training staff and the Adult Guidance team of MSLETB will present details of the courses. We will also introduce past learners who will detail their experiences and how returning to education opened up exciting new opportunities for them.

There is no need to register – just go to https://bit.ly/FET-Mayo at 6.50pm on Wednesday. The event will go live at 7pm.
