Art in the Landscape: Online Seminar 25th May 2022

This seminar will explore the intersect of Art in the Landscape, with culture, the environment, tourism and social engagement by leading artists, curators, authors, and researchers. It will be an opportunity to share knowledge from local, national, and international examples of potential and explore co-collaborative ways of working that can inform future initiatives in Ireland and beyond.

This event is inspired by Ireland’s art in the landscape assets: Tír Sáile Sculpture Trail in County Mayo and Lough Boora Sculpture Park in County Offaly. It is intended that the seminar stimulates and challenges ideas on Art in the Landscape projects as well as presenting potential opportunities for their future development. Part of an ongoing project with Offaly County Council (lead partner), Mayo County Council and Visual Artist Ireland. Studio Response are the Cultural Producers for this event. Funded through the Arts Council's An Invitation to Collaboration Scheme.
