Join Mayo Artists for a special Christmas performance set in Mayo's Historical Ballintubber Abbey.

Founded in 1216 by Cathal Crovderg O'Connor, Ballintubber Abbey is an important sacred Irish historical site which celebrated its 800 year anniversary in 2016

Native Niall Hughes plays with a variety of bands across the musical spectrum. One of these, Irish/Persian quartet Nava, were nominees for best folk band in the 2020 RTE Folk Awards.

Lisa Canny is 7-time All-Ireland champion on harp and banjo, chart-topping artist and an award-winning songwriter from Hollymount, Co. Mayo.  With sell-out tours across Europe and the UK in 2019 Canny is currently in London working on new material for 2021.

RACHEL is an Irish female artist from Claremorris. To date she has had two No.1 singles in the Irish Charts and performed in venues such as Whelans, CrowBar and The Roost. RACHEL’s single ‘Show Me’ was named 'Track of the Week' by RTÉ 2FM and got international airplay and media coverage.

Mayo born singer songwriter Tracy Gallagher's rich, haunting vocals and sharp and catchy song-writing style have earned her a rightful place amongst Ireland's finest emerging indie folk artists and garnered her critical acclaim since the release of her debut EP The Fallen earlier this year.

Sean Joyce, 19 years old. He is a Singer Songwriter who’s looking forward to releasing music for the first time in 2021. He has worked alongside Conor Adams from all Tvvins and producer Cormac Butler in 2020 and has found his sound during the tough times that the year has brought. To date he has played in the Sound House and has supported Moncrieff in Dublin!

The fire is crackling and lights are twinkling on the Tree. Sit back and enjoy a special musical Performance. A Group of well-known talented Mayo Musicians come together in Mayo's Historical Ballintubber Abbey, which was founded in 1216. This performance promises to captivate the essence of the Abbey along with sharing some Festive Joy far and wide.
