This new exhibition explores the discovery of a hoard of silver bracelets from Cushalogurt, Kilmeena, and a Viking sword found in the River Moy at Coolcronaun.  This is the largest hoard of silver arm-rings found in Ireland. With spring flowers budding, there is plenty to explore in the grounds and walkways, making this an ideal spring activity for all of the family to enjoy. The National Museum of Ireland – Country Life is hosting a fun and creative one-hour workshop on jewellery design with a Viking theme, on Friday, February 17, from 2 to 3pm.
