The Tavern, Murrisk shortlisted for Best Wild Atlantic Way Restaurant

The Tavern Bar and Restaurant is shortlisted for Best Wild Atlantic Way Restaurant in the 2015 Gold Medal Awards. It is the only Mayo restaurant shortlisted for the award. It is being decided by public vote, so they need your help to make sure Mayo comes out on top. Mayo has a long and incredibly beautiful coastline, it makes sense that the Wild Atlantic Way Restaurant 2015 would be in the county.

Running for more than two decades, the Keelings Farm Fresh Gold Medal Awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry. Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way Restaurant 2015 is a new category and is sponsored by the Food Safety Professionals Association. The award is based on a restaurant with superb quality and service along the Wild Atlantic Way, one of the world’s most spectacular and breathtaking coastlines.
