Mayo team to face Cork on Sunday is named

The Penultimate Round of the Allianz Football League Division 1 take palce this weekend with mayo traveling  to Cork.

Mayo will be looking to pick up 2 points after the heavy defeat to Dublin 2 weeks ago which would move them closer to a League Semi-Final Spot.  Cillian O’Connor, Chris Barrett, Evan Regan, Seamus O’Shea, Tom Cunniffe are missing through injury are with Patrick Durcan unavailable for selection as a result of red card picked up in U-21 match last week which has forced the Mayo management to re-shuffle their pack.

Pat Holmes and Connelly have made a total of 6 changes from the side  from last Saturday week. David Clarke returns between the posts instead of Robbie Hennelly. Ger Cafferkey replaces the injured Tom Cunniffe. Donal Vaughan reverts back to his more familiar role at half back while Barry Moran and Tom Parsons come into the team in midfield for Patrick Durcan and Seamus O’Shea. Up front Danny Kirby after impressing off the bench comes in for Diarmuid O’Connor while Alan Dillon making his first competitive start of the year comes in for Alan Freeman in the Full-Forward line.
