Leaving Certificate students in Co Mayo are receiving a ‘good luck’ card via social media from Mayo County Council road safety department in a novel initiative aimed at highlighting road safety prior to exams, the examinations will take place over a 15 day period, commencing on 5th June and concluding on the 25th June.
The message is good luck and stay safe.
“Many students will be driving to the exams and this summer will see many Leaving Cert students celebrating and attending various events and concerts so please pay attention on the roads, slow down, always wear your seatbelt and don’t ever drink and drive” said Noel Gibbons, MCC Road Safety Education Officer.
The road safety department wishes students the best of luck in the Leaving Cert exams but also stressed the road safety message. “Nobody can claim to be the perfect driver; you are learning every day and should never become complacent. Please be careful; nobody is invincible,”Tags: Exams, Road Safety
