CONNECTING THE DOTS

Myles C. Gallagher was honoured as Cleveland Mayo Society’s 2019 Person of the Year at the recent Mayo society annual dinner. The Cleveland native is a graduate of St. Edward High School and John Carroll University. Both Myles’ Grandfathers and Grandmother were natives of Achill Island and his connection to County Mayo remains strong.
To acknowledge the accolade and to demonstrate the significance of what coming from Mayo and Ireland means to him, Myles commissioned Lorcan Hynes, a Mayo Film Director to produce a short film which depicts feelings.
Capturing the vast cinematic beauty of Mayo and particularly Achill Island, the film portrays a profound strength of connection and deep rooted pride felt by Myles.
Unsurprisingly the film received overwhelming reviews in the Irish Community in Cleveland and here at Mayo.ie we have no doubt its message will resonate with Mayo Diaspora far and wide.
Myles Gallagher is a pioneer in premium seating and sponsorship sales with the Cleveland Indians and IMG, he quite naturally morphed into a full-service agency, transitioning naming rights from a sports stadium niche to an integral part of infrastructure financing.
Formed 25 years ago, The Superlative Group (www.superlativegroup.com) is considered one of the premier consulting and sales organisations in the area of naming rights and sponsorship valuation and sales in the US, Canada, Ireland and the UK and more recently, Asia.
Under his creative leadership Superlative has produced more than $2.4 billion in corporate sponsorships and naming rights for its clients. Among them the US Marine Corps, US Army, Cleveland
Clinic, University Hospitals, Twentieth Century Fox, San Diego Symphony, NUI Galway, Trinity University, Kent State University and many others.
