More than 20 tour operators are shown the best of Mayo

The tourism department within Mayo County Council recently hosted a two-day visit of over 20 tour operators. The group visited over 15 different locations and attractions while staying in the county, including the areas of Westport, Achill, Castlebar, Foxford, Ballina, Kilalla, Ballycastle and Downpatrick Head. Presentations were given to the group by the various destination areas to highlight tour-friendly accommodation, bars and restaurants,activities, amenities and cultural attractions.
