Creative Ireland - Culture and Creativity in Mayo


Creative Ireland is the Government's Legacy Programme for Ireland 2016 - a multi annual initiative from 2017-22 which places creativity at the centre of public policy. The aim is to bring an enhanced level of coordination, focus and leadership to existing policies and initiatives across all sectors. The Mayo Culture and Creativity Strategy  2018 – 2022 is available to download here.

Mayo County Council, in association with Creative Ireland, is currently inviting applications for funding under two programmes:

 

Creative Ireland Community Grant Scheme

The objective of this scheme is to provide support to local community groups; artistic, heritage and creative practitioners; event organisers and those involved in creative activities and projects, to encourage creativity, collaboration and cultural participation.

Cruinniú na nÓg Day June 12th

Mayo County Council is seeking proposals for projects to take place on Cruinniú na nÓg, the national day of creativity for children and young people on June 12th.

Closing date March 12th 2021 at 5pm.
