The Mayo Traveller Interagency Group has been established to find ways of securing better outcomes for Travellers in Mayo and to improve the use of the resources, allocated across Government Departments for Traveller-specific measures.

Tinsmith, Bernard Mongan (Galway) Maked a Lidded Can

In 1965 Mr. Bernard Mongan, tinsmith, was filmed on behalf of the National Museum of Ireland while he worked at a roadside encampment at Cahermorris, Co. Galway. The film shows each step in the process of making a lidded-tin-can.
