Special Voters List
We prepare a list of Special Voters every year. If you have disabilities or illness and are a long-term resident in a Nursing Home or Hospital you should apply to be included on this list so that your vote is counted. A Presiding Officer, and a member of An Garda Síochána will visit during elections and referenda to ensure that your vote counts.
To qualify for the Special Voters list, your circumstances must be likely to continue for the duration of the register, preventing you from going to the polling station to vote.
You should complete the SVL Form and send it back to us before 25th November annually to be included on Special Voters list for the following year.
