Inside Outside

February 04 @ 12:00 am

‘Inside Outside’, a celebration of the restoration of the iconic façade of the Linenhall Arts Centre will commemorate its 200 year old history (ranging from linen factory to arts centre), with a musical journey curated by local traditional music artist Emer Mayock. Illustrated by celebrated storyteller Macdara Yeates and featuring Louise Mulcahy (uilleann pipes/flute), Paul Dooley (early Irish harp), Patrick Dexter (cello), Nick Roth (saxophone) and Michelle O’Rourke (mezzo soprano), in collaboration with Clare Island handweaver Beth Ann Moran, this live street event is the first of its kind for the Linenhall, a truly unique celebration of music and history. Print programmes will be available on the night featuring a specially commissioned introduction by Vincent Woods, and exquisite artwork by Maeve Clancy.
