Mayo County Council invites Expressions of Interest under the Town & Village Renewal Scheme 2025 and Project Development Measure 2025. The schemes are funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development under Project Ireland 2040 as part of “Our Rural Future – Ireland’s Rural Development Policy 2021 – 2025”.
The 2025 TVRS is designed to support the revitalisation of rural Ireland through a renewed focus on town centre economic and social recovery and regeneration. This will be achieved by projects focusing on town centre regeneration, enhancing our streetscapes and bringing vacant and derelict buildings back into use as community multi-purpose spaces through refurbishment and renovation.

Applicants are strongly advised to read the scheme outline prior to completing the Expression of Interest forms and to note the changes to the scheme in 2025.
Expression of Interest forms should be completed through the online portal and submitted by 3pm on Thursday 29th May 2025. No Expressions of Interest will be accepted after that time.
