Sunday 1.30pm

  • Update in Castlebar Municipal District: Roads at Windy Gap, Straide, Keelogues and Ballinvilla have all reopened to traffic

Sunday 10.45am

  • The R327 Claremorris to Cloonfad Road has now reopened to traffic
  • Restricted access on Cathedral Road, Ballina due to trench failure. Mayo County Council crews on site at present to repair

Saturday 11.55pm

  • The South Mall in Westport has now reopened to traffic

Saturday 8.30pm

  • L5787 Ballinvilla closed due to flooding

Saturday 8pm

  • Westport Leisure Centre Car Park is closed due to flooding
  • South Mall, Westport closed due to risk of flooding

Saturday 5.30pm

  • The R312 Belmullet Road is passable again with snow melted and trees and branches cleared.
  • The Windy Gap road (L1721) is passible, but trees and branches still causing obstruction, caution advised, if possible use alternative routes.

Saturday 5pm

  • The N59 Westport to Leeanne road is now reopened. Extreme caution is advised as flashes of water remain on the road.

Saturday 4pm

  • The N59 Ballylahan to Ballyvary Road is closed due to flooding in Straide. Diversions are in place.

Saturday 3.45pm

  • The road at Keelogues Church is closed due to flooding. Diversions are in place.

Saturday 3.30pm

  • The R355 Louisburgh to Aasleagh Falls road is now open to traffic. Caution is advised as council crews continue to clear debris

Saturday 3pm

  • The N59 at Erriff remains impassable
  • The North Mall at Westport Post Office is now reopened

  • The R316 is flooded and impassable at Creevy Crossroads, Crossmolina. Diversion signs in place

Saturday 1.45pm

  • Flooding in Charlestown town centre after river has burst its bank.
  • Further flooding incidents possible later in the day

  • The R327 Claremorris to Cloonfad Road is closed at Tulrahan due to flooding. Local diversions are in place
  • Flash flooding on the N5 at Lislackagh. Traffic lights will be in operation

Saturday 12.30pm

  • Bridge swept away in Derreendafderg, Srah, Tourmakeady. Households not impacted with access available either side of the bridge.

Saturday 12.15pm

  • The N59 at Judge's roundabout & Cathedral road in Ballina is now clear of flooding

  • The L1403 Keenagh to Newport road is closed and impassable due to landslide at Shramore Church
  • The L14035 Glendavoolagh road is closed due to landslide

  • The North Mall at Westport Post Office is closed due to surface water

  • The R330 Ballinrobe to Westport Road closed due to flooding at Railway Bridge
