Mayo County Council Library Development Plan

Date: 04-08-2021

What is the future of our library service? More books/ longer opening hours? More online services? More health information? Career support? Study areas? More talks and exhibitions? More support for children reading? Better local history and genealogy services?

What are its strengths? Its weaknesses? What must it do to meet your needs?

Mayo County Council is producing a Library Development Plan for the period 2021 to 2025.   The plan will plot the evolution of our library service and allow us to respond to the changing needs of our community. We would like to hear your thoughts on what the service can do for you. How do you see the library serving your community ? What must it do to meet your needs? What new services would you like to see? How could we deliver our services more effectively? Where do we excel and where could we do better?

This is your library service and we want to hear from you.
