Do Not Swim Notice Removed For Bertra Beach

Mayo County Council wishes to advise the public that the temporary DO NO SWIM notice in place at Bertra Beach has been removed this afternoon, Friday, 16th July 2021 following receipt of satisfactory results from a water sample taken on Wednesday 14th July 2021.
Mr. Martin Keating, Head of Environment, Climate Change and Agriculture stated that he is “delighted to have bathing restored at Bertra beach in time for this busy weekend.”
