Mayo Day at Ballina Arts Centre
Ballina Arts Centre on Mayo Day 2025 will be a celebration of the vibrant arts and creativity community in Ballina and will give those attending an insight into the many activities that take place here. The daylong event will see Ballina Arts Centre open its doors to the public and invite them to join us for free afternoon music concerts on the mezzanine and family orientated drop-in art workshops throughout the day. The concert will feature performances by students from the Spotlight Vocal Studio Singing School. Arts Centre Open Day will feature something for all ages to enjoy, will showcase amazing local talent and give families the opportunity to have creative fun together. We will also offer free tours of our two galleries where we feature exhibitions by two artists; Seiko Hayase in our Concourse Gallery and Hina Khan in our downstairs Gallery.
- Drop-in workshops will be held between 11am and 1pm and 2pm and 4pm. Two will be for families with young children of primary school age and one for teenagers.
- Music performances will take place between 1pm and 3pm.
- Free gallery tours will take place at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm
