No Fee Pic CANNONBALL arrived to Westport in Mayo last year to a rapturous welcome and is back this year by popular demand.  Thousands are expected to flock to Claremorris again this year at 3pm on September 9th at 12.00 to see the cars and enjoy the unique festival atmosphere.  CANNONBALL takes place from September 8th to 10th with 190 supercars and novelty cars, free family festivals, celebrities, Audionetworks transformers and robots, family fun, and almost 1000km of Irish open roads. Over 160,000 excited spectators are expected along the route which takes in Dublin, Kinsale, Limerick, Galway Plaza, Claremorris, Sligo, Mullingar and Offaly with a dramatic finish line at Kilkenny Castle.  The event has raised almost €900,000 so far for Irish Charities and this year, proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Ireland
