Congratulations to the Ballyvary Bluebombers under 13 boys who became champions of the Mayo Youth League on Tuesday night last. The match took place in Ballyvary and the pitch was in great condition and pitch was well decorated with banners and flags. God also must be a bombers supporter after the wonderful sunny evening the team had for the celebrations.
The match started with both teams standing to attention for the anthem and the game began.
Both teams played very well, it was Cillian OBrien the captain for Ballyvary got his side off with a goal and Jack Comer got the second one for a Ballyvary 2-0 win.
It was music and food for the players, team coaches Walter Cusack, Patrick McDonnell and supporters after the shield was presented to the Ballyvary team, a lovely way to end the season.
Well done to a very committed and hard working team.
